I turned 8 last week and because of the Coronavirus, we couldn’t have a normal party. So my family did lots of fun things at home. One of the fun things we did was our own Nailed It competition.

If you don’t know the show Nailed It, it is on Netflix and we love it. It is so funny. You should see it yourself!

People have to try to make tricky cakes and they try their best but sometimes it goes very wrong and it is funny to watch.

My Mum has a book about lots of interesting cakes that is really old. I chose cakes that we had to try to make from her book. For me I chose the number 8 racetrack and for my little sister I chose the cute sweet shop cake. For my Mum I chose the cake which is a jelly swimming pool and for my Dad I chose the really hard dump truck full of lollies.

We pressed the panic button on the table if we needed help from my Mum.

It is fun because when you are doing it you can eat lots of cake and icing!

You will need to make some cakes and some icing. Also get your parents to buy lollies to decorate with.
