George's Marvellous Medicine will keep making you feel excited about what will happen next.

This book is by Roald Dahl who is a really good author. His books are cool because they are great to read and he also makes up a lot of new words himself that you can learn.

The main characters in this book are a boy called George and his boring, creepy grandma. George is always good but when he is with his grandma he is usually naughty. George’s grandma is the mum of George’s mum.

George’s grandma is not kind to him. So he makes a plan to try to explode her. You can tell by looking at his face in the picture that he is up to mischief.

He decides to make his own medicine that looks like her normal medicine. He puts disgusting things like flea powder, brown shoe polish and washing powder and other gross ingredients.

Before George puts in things he thinks of how his parents would react when they come back from the town. But he isn’t really worried about getting into trouble.

The medicine makes George’s grandma do crazy things. The most funny thing in George’s Marvellous Medicine was how his mum looked when she saw her own mum’s head sticking way out of the roof. That happens but I won’t say any more or it will ruin the story for you.

I recommend this book for kids who like to always be surprised all the time when they read.
